As part of its Draconian efforts to outlaw abortion clinics and all other means of the practice, the Texas legislature is seriously considering several bills to attack the problem at its primitive source. With the support of Gov.Rick Perry, one bill would ban all sexual intercourse except for cattle. A lawmaker from a yet unnamed newly gerrymandered district defended the one exception as a reasonable concession to protect the state’s time-honored reputation as the steak capital of the world.
