While Kim Davis was gamely  trying to bear up under the current  version of the Hallelujah Chorus from the throngs who greeted her tearful exit from prison, she seemed unaware of the political fire that she had ignited by casting herself solely to the authority of God.  It is a frightful  sign of the times when a far removed  Kentucky county clerk is hailed as a martyred heroine by refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex partners.

I think I’ve bitten my tongue long enough with regard to that wicked woman in Kentucky who keeps making all the headlines.

The Eye of the Tiger bit where Mike Huckabee held her hand up like she just knocked out Mr. T, and the dumb hick crowd cheered like 13-year-old girls at a Bieber concert? Much too much.

Brothers and sisters, the gloves are coming off. So forgive the ad hominem, I have no patience for self-righteous stupidity and intolerance, much less the flouting of the U.S. Constitution and the hijacking of the banner of religious freedom.

Plunderbund has heard from multiple sources that Republicans on the Franklin County Board of Elections (BOE) have discussed hiring David Hansen, John Kasich’s disgraced school choice chief, to run the county’s early voting center. The voting center is co-run by one Republican employee and one picked by the Democrats on the BOE.
