It’s been pointed out more than once that the only real solid support John Kasich has in the Ohio blogosphere is with carpetbloggers from Virginia. The homegrown righties don’t seem so enamored with the guy to be honest.
Kasich’s latest me-too policy proposal has Pullins a bit worked up. Let’s skip to the money quote right out of the gate:
The problem with John Kasich’s policy proposals is that they are as fraudulent as Lehman Brothers’ exotic investment products. Everything he is proposing is either illegal, unworkable or has been enacted into law already.
Damn son! […]Full Story... →
If there was ever a Republican candidate for Governor that should appeal to former head of the now defunct (I believe) Ohio Taxpayers Association Scott Pullins, at least on paper, it would be John Kasich.
So the brain surgeons that are running the Kasich campaign have finally figured out that millions of dollars of unanswered negative campaign commercials might be hurting John Kasich’s campaign for governor. Congratulation you handsome fellows and welcome to Politics […]Full Story... →
Looks to me like there’s a sanity streak breaking out amongst some Republicans.
$27,319.20 cash on hand…
I’ve got nothing against the Tea Party folks.? I agree with probably 90% of what they stand for.? But being angry at Democrats and some Republicans and showing up at a rally every twenty years or so is not enough….
Beware the siren song of the teabag. ?In the heat of the moment, passion rushing through you like Sophia Loren’s probing tongue, it seems like a good idea, but you won’t respect yourself in […]Full Story... →
It’s only a matter of time before the Ohio Democratic Party declares the Kasich-Taylor campaign a disaster in the making.? And don’t take just my word for it, conservative blogger Scott Pullins, who in 2006 went out of his way to smear both Governor Strickland and his wife in efforts to help Ken Blackwell, writes a post today that virtually echoes my critique of the Kasich campaign.?
Pullins’ post is a tour de force but here are some highlights:
Kasich’s Income Tax Repeal Plan Is Radioactive.? Kasich’s only substantial policy idea is to repeal Ohio’s state income tax […]Full Story... →
One of my favorite bloggers points out that another of my favorite bloggers is suing my least favorite blogger. The only better kicker is that another least favorite blogger (and lawyer) is representing said favorite blogger. In short, Scott Pullins is helping Tim Russo sue Matt Naugle.
It has to be true. I couldn’t even make that up!
Why? Because at some point you have to surrender to what is right. I think Scott has done that. Or he just loves lawsuits – which as Joe here will tell you – just might be the case. I have trouble […]Full Story... →
Above is NOT a typo. Welcome to bizarro world, where black is white and white is black…and what you thought you knew you don’t know or the knowns have become the unknowns or some such:
In an informal Esquire survey, three out of four white supremacists prefer Obama, while McCain is the clear favorite among black nationalists. (Sure, our methodology suffered from an extraordinarily low sample size — limited to four white supremacists and one black nationalist — but just because it wouldn’t fly with Gallup doesn’t mean there ain’t a kernel of truth in there.
Maybe this explains […]Full Story... →
From Lisa Renee at GCJ, this from the Bob Latta campaign:
Today, the Buehrer campaign, through his manager Jim Banks, has submitted a records request at BGSU. What is to gain by attacking my wife? All of these records are public. There has never been anything to hide. So what?s the point?
I guess in my opponent?s case, when you get tired of attacking the candidate you attack his family. To attack my wife is beyond belief. Please point me to another election in northwest Ohio when this has ever happened. Mr. Buehrer, I am only going to tell […]Full Story... →
I know we’ve been discussing this in the comments, but I thought it was deserving of a post. If you haven’t seen it yet, you MUST watch this video from Thursday in which the judge makes Scott Pullins apologize:
And be sure to check out this article in the Mount Vernon News:
Judge Otho Eyster dismissed local attorney Scott Pullins? most recent cyberstalking complaint against Miriam St. Jean, a Mount Vernon woman who has admitted to writing highly critical posts of Pullins on local Internet forums.Full Story... →
We were are worried about Scott Pullins after he missed his last court appearance due to illness.
Thankfully, he seems to be feeling better because he is back to filing ridiculous motions on behalf of his wife and her case against their home-owners’ association (Apple Valley).
According to the Mount Vernon News: “… Pullins has filed a motion for contempt against the board, alleging that it is destroying the requested documents. However, legal counsel for the AVPOA said the records being shredded have nothing to do with the court case.”
Glad to see you up and about, Scott. […]Full Story... →
