If Jon Keeling didn’t have a record of getting the Ohio media to incorporate his B.S. narratives so much in their reporting, I wouldn’t bother. But Keeling (and by extension, the Kasich campaign) is trying to spread a rumor that the Democratic Governor’s Association is pulling out of Ohio.
But it’s not true, as I have confirmed it with the DGA. But beyond that, just last week, the DGA filed a complaint against Fox News with the Ohio Elections Commission concerning their free advertisement of John Kasich’s campaign and assistance in on-air campaign fundraising. This week, they’ve got […]Full Story... →
Glenn Beck recently addressed a false rumor that he was killed in a plane crash over the holidays (video after the jump). Apparently a “major news organization” called his business partner to get a statement on his fatal plane crash.
I wonder if anyone has called to get a statement on whether Glenn Beck raped and murdered a girl in 1990?
Why won’t Glenn talk about this obvious rumor like he did the obvious rumor that he was killed in a plane crash? Maybe it was just to make the eat chili and Ex-Lax and take a […]Full Story... →
Modern’s piece on Kasich is up. It’s all I promised and then some. Maybe not what you expected, but there’s a point to that. The right in Ohio has historically gone down the nasty rumor mill road more times than not. They typically do it when most vulnerable. You’ll remember the NAMBLA flailing about that eventually even made it into a debate between now Governor Strickland and his opponent Ken Blackwell (now fringe wingnut columnist).
Then there’s the “Strickland is gay” stuff, lead by Scott Pullins and other right wing bloggers. Now we have the “Ted may […]Full Story... →
This sounds all too familiar:
WASHINGTON – A female telecommunications lobbyist who became part of an explosive story early this year about John McCain has broken months of silence to deny the main subtext of the account — that she was suspected of being romantically involved with the Republican presidential candidate. “I did not have a sexual relationship with Senator McCain,” Vicky Iseman told the National Journal magazine.
The last time we heard someone say that, we know what happened!
…but it does depend on what the meaning of the word is is.Full Story... →
ROFL. You gotta love this. “It’s unfair!”, they shouted. “Our comments about that African-born negro gay Muslim Manchurian candidate were taken out of context!”, they protested. “They made our beloved flag city into a racist hotbed of misinformation and it’s just not fair!”, they whined.
Somebody call the waaahbulance because I think we have an emergency of conscience here.
This is precisely why we blog their emails. Precisely why we blog their phone numbers. So they are called to the carpet and taken to task. Apparently it worked. Today on the front page of the Findlay Courier, there’s […]Full Story... →
