Within days of the recount in the GOP primary being called off with former Taft Agriculture Director/’08 nominee Fred Daily concede to freshman State Senator Bob Gibbs, the Zack Space congressional campaign wasted no time taking a swing at Gibbs with a fore-star attack ad that will have Gibbs asking for a mulligan on the GOP primary.Full Story... →
Either that presumably 50 ft. tall “Vote Steve Stivers May 4th” sign was photoshopped into a Tea Party crowd shot by the Ohio Republican Party or I missed the headline in the Columbus Dispatch:
58 Tea Party protesters killed by falling giant Stivers sign.
Christ, guys, don’t photoshop something where the sign looks so large that people’s heads are smaller than the dot on the “i.”? They actually cropped the bottom edge to make it appear like it was behind those folks and tilted the writing to give the impression it was displayed at an angle.?? What did […]Full Story... →
After reading my live blog of the Kasich-PalinTaylor press conference today where I noticed ads by employers looking to hire Ohioans popped up every time one of them said jobs, a fan of the site sent me this even better screen capture:
I bet Ohio GOP Chairman Kevin DeWine clicked it to see if it applies to political marriages.Full Story... →
…no, not really. Silly. But if they did you might be able to get the T shirt:
Kind of cool I guess, but kind of dumb just the same. Only some headlines have little T shirt icons next to them and you can’t make up your own headlines and order Tees. THAT would be sweet.
You can, of course, change the URL parameters to make your own like I did above – but don’t try ordering. It will crap out. Missed an opportunity there CNN! Stupid lawyers I imagine nixed that idea. 😉
Maybe I […]Full Story... →
I was just sipping on something sweet
I don’t need political process
Cause i don’t care where you’ve been
And I don’t care what you’ve seen
We’re the ones who still believe
And we’re looking for a page
In that lifeless book of hope
Where a dream might help you cope
With the Bushes and the bombs

OK hoops fans. This is it. The final call for bracket entries. You must have your picks in by 11:55am tomorrow. The pool will be locked in after that time.
Enter a bracket here:
We have 6 players so far. Like to get at least 10 in. I’m tellin’ ya. There will be prizes! Don’t miss out.
I know Joe wanted some tips so here it goes for the non-bracketologists:
Pick all 1 and 2 seeds to advance. Pencil in North Carolina, Memphis, UCLA, Kansas, Tennessee, Texas, Georgetown, and Duke. I’d also probably pick […]Full Story... →
This won’t be the last time I remind peeps that the brackets are available for the first annual PlunderPool. Make sure to get your bracket in. Everyone is welcome and I’ll accept up to two pick sheets from each person who enters (so do up a whacky bracket along with your most serious picks). We are working on some cool prizes…and who wouldn’t want to say they won the inaugural PlunderPool NCAA bracket contest?
So come one. Current players include:
If you blog, put up a […]Full Story... →
OK, so I’ve already given myself the segue from politics to college basketball. So let’s talk some college hoops for a bit (at least until the first week of April and for sure all this next week!).
I’ve set up a tournament pool online and you are invited to join. All are welcome (yes, even you conservative types and Hillary supporters LOL). You will be asked for a password to keep the random people out. Use “plunderpool”. We’ll have some fun with it and everyone probably agrees we’ll need something to temporarily take some of our focus off […]Full Story... →
