Five minutes and 27 seconds, that’s how long the candidates for President of the United States spent talking about climate change during 4.5 hours of debate time in three meetings during the 2016 General Election.
Hillary Clinton had to bring the issue up herself, in the third debate, after moderators failed to do so.
“Some country is going to be the clean energy superpower of the 21st century,” Clinton said. “Donald thinks that climate change is a hoax perpetrated by the Chinese. I think it’s real.”
