Ohio Republicans are effusively claiming success in several ways following last week’s election. Among their achievements, they say, is the low turnout by voters. A source in Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted’s office, which strongly supported restrictions on voting rights; said: “I’m not a mathematician, but with fewer voters casting ballots, the better the chance to reduce the opportunities for voter fraud, which is something we’ve been trying to accomplish all along.”

OMG! This kid of thinking in a democracy? Did it ever occur to these morons that the 62% of the electorate that stayed home just might be feeling disenfranchised? Voter turnout like this should give everyone reason to be concerned. This says a lot about the mindset of these republicans. They don’t want a big tent. It’s too messy.

Sounds like he thinks that democracy is voter fraud. I am not so sure that I would be as kind to him as you, since I am not convinced that he can have a “mindset” if he doesn’t have a mind, Although, he might have a cavity where one should be.
Kind of like the scarecrow in Oz, he is still waiting for the wizard to give him a brain.
