Political satirists and PAC, Central Ohio Countering Kasich (COCK), who are not shy about (a) double entendres, and, (b) making a mockery of Ohio Gov. John Kasich, were recently kicked out of an Ohio State Buckeyes Grill-A-Palooza featuring The Guv himself at Campaign HQ Saturday.

First, Cheers to COCK for taking advantage of the preposterous Citizens United ruling and creating an equally preposterous PAC, which can be found at COCKPAC.org. And cheers to COCK for the good-faith effort to befuddle Kampaign Kasich at an obvious pseudo event, and otherwise throughout election season.

But, of course, No More Fun of Any Kind. As local media sat ready and steady to capture a ginned-up fluff piece, the PAC’s treasurer, Travis Irvine, was kicked out of a public Kasich campaign event.

“Why is Kasich Scared of COCK?” an email blast questioned.

If Kasich is so ready to move on to his next great feat, why does a contrarian “PAC” headed up by a stand-up comedian who once ran for Congress pose such a threat to him in a public campaign event?

He doesn’t want a distraction to his fluffy Buckeyes promotion? He’s worried about insurgent opponents catching him pandering? John Kasich hates double entendres?

“It’s because they are actually scared of us deeply penetrating their campaign and the parody work we’ve done so far,” said Irvine, the BBQ-exiled-man. “If they really don’t want Kasich’s opponents to listen to him speak at public events, then what good is a public official who lives in a bubble of his supporters? I think Kasich’s campaign actually secretly loves us.”

Irvine also pointed to GOP strategist Terry Casey on WOSU’s “Columbus on the Record” when he incorrectly described Irvine as a “guy who’s been with MoveOn.org and the Obama people,” while discussing the PAC’s  “He Yelled” parody of Kasich’s “He Listened” campaign ad.

“While the PAC is officially non-partisan, a simple Google search shows that Irvine has more ties to the Libertarian Party, as he ran for U.S. Congress in 2010 and is a registered Libertarian.”

And the real gem:

“Casey should know about the Libertarians as he was recently outed for his role in getting Libertarian candidate Charlie Earl kicked off of Ohio’s ballot, according to the Libertarian Party of Ohio.”

Somebody get a napkin for the egg on Mr. Casey’s dubious visage.

COCKPAC is just afraid that if Kasich’s handlers let the gov speak, COCKPAC will find the comedic competition just too darn stiff. I am surprised the Kasich goons didn’t erect barriers playing such hard ball.
