The growing media reports of the Tea Party’s resistance movement against Gov. Kasich is prompting the GOP high command to  hunt for new ways to wiggle him through the 2014 election without an awful backlash from  his former backyard on the right.  One thought that is attracting more than casual interest is for the GOP to secede  from its frayed old banner and form a third party with an appealing new name.
