Our website is going to down temporarily tonight as we’re going to launch the third major redesign of our website.
Thanks to your support, we’ve gone three straight months with one record breaking traffic month after another. Given that political blogs typically see traffic follow the political cycle, it’s extraordinary to say we got in March over 72% of all our traffic in 2010. Kasich’s move, whether it’s his budget or SB 5, has energized interest on the Ohio left in ways we haven’t seen since 2005.
Our website redesigned is intended to give us a little more editorial control over how stories are presented. Right now, for the most part, things appear on the site in reverse chronological order. Occasionally, we can put one post on the top to override that, but that’s it. Our redesign tonight will give us more control over featuring certain stories for a longer time so they get more exposure.
We hope you like the newly redesigned Plunderbund site and find it a better presentation of the content you’ve come to expect from us.
