Alan Johnson sent this tweet from the Kasich presser this morning:

Kasich’s statement is laughable given the history of phone-related failures in his own office…

Just another example of Kasich’s extremely poor leadership style and his “do as I say, not as I do” attitude toward state employees.

IOKIYAR otherwise known as “there are no rules”. Nothing to see here, move along, dog bites man, no news here.

Just more of the same which is the prideful, purposeful incompetence that the radical R party is known for. They do it on purpose because the radical R’s are blinded by their own BS as long as it comes from one of them.

They don’t work for us that is why they took down the contact information. “We” (NOT) have the best government that evil rich people can buy. Would bet serious money that new BFF Steven A Davis and other evil big business welfare queens have a direct line to his evilness Prince John.

I have called and gotten no answer as well — and the email response I eventually got was RUDE and dismissive (this was when they were telling reporters they could not bring cameras to the press budget briefing).

My state rep and sen (both R’s) have lovely staffers who are polite and helpful. It is a disgrace to the state not to have good people at the gubernatorial level.

Well, I’ll give him this one. I called the Ohio Department of Development hundreds of times over the years and when they answered the phone they never called me an IDIOT.

with any luck he cut his budget on phone and communications and they shut them off entirely

I think this calls for a link to the phone list they don’t want you to see.

Why do they have a Residence Manager if they don’t live in the Governor’s Mansion? Seems to me that cutting that position probably could save 2 or 3 DYS or prison jobs.

The day I called, the recording told me right off that the mailbox was full (at least they didn’t lie about that) and I’d have to call back later. Of course, they didn’t tell me WHEN I should call back that the mailbox wouldn’t be so full. We can bet that King Kasich hasn’t listed to a single one of them.

I work for the Ohio EPA, and I can tell you first hand that there is deliberate effort to hold information from the public regarding environmental issues in the state. Engineers and scientists have been directed to not talk with reporters and public information people have been directed to provide as little information as possible. Under Mr. Strickland, everything was out in the open. Under Mr. Kasich, everything is done in a dark room. I have been with the Ohio EPA for almost 30 years, and I have never seen an administration so afraid of providing information. I guess it goes back to that debacle with the air permit in January when Mr. Kasich and Mr. Naly were busted with their hands in the cookie jar. They really did not like the idea of an employee of Ohio EPA setting the record straight on their lies about the permit. We have essentially a gag order from the administration. I am sure it is the same situation at other agencies. So much for a government of the people, by the people, for the people . Where have I heard those words before? Oh yeah, Mr. Lincoln provided those words after the battle of Gettysburg. Is this the kind of goverment those soldiers died for?

And yet, they still list a communications office. Seems like that is one place they could cut the budget since any kind of useful information has not come out of that office since Kasich took over as the self-declared emporer. Next, he will declare himself president. Be careful. Check his birth certificate to make sure he is actually from this planet.
