(Major HT: ProgressOhio who shot this video)

Makes over $600k, hates children, would rather let kids starve, and thinks anyone who wants to be a public school teacher is a parasite to taxpayers.  And objects to union folks taking a personal day so they can petition their own elective representatives and asked to be heard on matters of public policy.

Meet just one of the hundred of Tea Party “activists” who came to Columbus to support SB 5.

These are the folks John Kasich and Senator Shannon Jones speak for.

Well, he obviously makes $650K. That group is for “Members Only.”

  • Hahahahahaha!!

What’s with all the classical music?

Every Ohio resident has a constitutionally protected right to be heard by their legislature. Whether his testimony was of any real value is another question.

  • pragmatic_one

$650 K and public employees are overpaid?

There should be a special 98% surtax written into Ohio Law just for this guy.

I love the quote: “Why don’t you get a private sector job?”. That’s just such an empty and soulless thing to say to a teacher. Beligerence is a prequisite to be accepted to Teabagger, Inc.

You have a point. But this guy…the first thing out of his mouth is how much money he makes. Look at me, I make 15 times more money than you therefore I am a superior human being and I deserve even more and you deserve even less. I guess it’s understandable, this philosophy is after all in line with the teachings of Christ (ahem).

Do you realize that this guy is part of the Tea Party… was representative of the people who were actually there. It was mostly old white guys. But thanks for showing that the Tea Party isn’t just a bunch of ignorant people who know nothing beyond namecalling their political opponents. You’ve really opened my eyes…

And what about the thousands of middle and working class Americans opposing SB 5, a one-sized fits all, top-down, big government knows best that takes away health care choices from individuals and leaves it solely up to the government?

  • pragmatic_one

The Tea Party exploits working class and middle class people by using thinly veiled racism and bizarre conspiracy theories to whip up their followers into a paranoid frenzy. The goal is simply to protect the wealthy while the middle class continues to erode.

I agree the country has been screwed up the last 20 years. Screwed up by trickle down economics, trade agreements that amount to nothing more than jobs moving overseas by the millions, and the consolidation of media which has led to Rupert Murdoch being able to spew his nonsense virtually unobstructed on the radio and on television.

What freedoms of choice are the teabaggers defending by taking away unions? They take away the rights of workers to collectively bargain and that somehow equates to freedom? For who exactly? Paying people less with ever weaker benefits is freedom? Really?

When calling liberals (or anyone, for that matter) stupid, please be certain to use proper grammar and check for spelling errors. You really fail to make your case when you can’t even use their/there correctly.

Wow, was that sarcasm? Gee, I never realized that he was being sarcastic! Thank God you trolled the Internet and came here to tell me that. It never occurred to me this was a sarcastic asshole who was denigrating a person’s chosen profession of teaching children, suggesting that taking such a job is grounds for him to treat her as less than him, and be a complete and total prick.

Thank you, thank you soooo much for coming here. Because clearly, I’ve never understood the concept of sarcasm until you came here to educate us…

  • Rgtmwlly

Ah yes, calling people racists…the go-to move of the hateful liberal crowd.

  • Richard

    What a dick.

You’re right. There’s nothing to make of a black conservative at CPAC being confused as a waiter… or the slightest hint of racism in the witch doctor or birther signs at Tea Party rallies… Seriously, dude, you are clueless.

  • The 5000 people who got out and told our Governor “Hell No” on SB5 look like regular people to me…

  • Hotgrnny

Who says stuff like that? really? I don’t care if you call it sarcasm or not, it’s simply ignorant. I have no problem with Tea Party Activists. I believe we should all stand up for what we believe in even if it means others don’t like us or understand. however, there is nothing to be gained by engaging in an argument that makes you look like a complete fool. For the record, they both do.
