News that Kasich is appointing a highly-partisan Republican campaign supporter to his cabinet today didn’t really surprise me at all.
But I was made somewhat more optimistic about the future of state government when I saw that AG-Elect Mike Dewine might actually be taking a different course.
Throughout the campaign, Mike Dewine complained about inefficiencies in processing DNA evidence at the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI) and – true or not – he vowed to fix the problem if he was elected.
