It hasn’t even been a full day since he was declared the winner in yesterday’s election but John Kasich is already announcing plans to increase the size of State government:

Wayne Struble will fill a new position in the governor’s office — that of director of policy for the state of Ohio.

So has Kasich already forgotten his promise to make government smaller?

Seems like it, but we’ll have to wait and watch.

And if I can promise you anything, I can promise you this: we WILL be watching.

Nope, just chalk this one up to another CSI (copying Strickland’s ideas).

Governor Strickland has had a Policy Director since the first day of his administration. http://governor.ohio.gov/Default.aspx?tabid=70

Yes, but this is State Policy Director… totally different. In other news, is Kasich going to have a Federal Policy Director?!?
