With the exception of an underperforming Columbiana County, the Youngstown Vindicator, notes that Democrats are outperforming in the Mahoning River Valley their performance in 2006 in early voting.

Democrats weren’t just ready to vote before the election.  We’ll vote on Tuesday, too.

Two more days, and we’ll stun them again.

The problem is Republican early voting percentages are higher than Democratic early voting percentages in comparison with each party’s percentage of registered voters on file. For example, in Mahoning County registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans 83% to 17% while the early vote has been Democrats 81% to 19% Republican. In Trumbull County it’s even worse. Registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans 81% to 19% yet early voters break down this way — Democrats 76% to 24% Republicans. Based on these numbers it will be a long night on Tuesday.

Not really. Those number are actually really, really, REALLY good for the Democrats.

We almost never get an electorate that as closely reflects our voter registration advantage. We are this year. This is very good news for us.
