This is how revolting the Cuyahoga County Democratic party has become.  Bridget McCafferty, who this party has promoted endlessly up the chain because of her Irishness, who has presided over a courtroom for an entire 3 terms, was sitting today in HANDCUFFS, before another judge, and still, incredibly, DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO ENTER A PLEA.

Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Bridget McCafferty, in a red suit, arrived in the courtroom in handcuffs.

She had several spirited discussions with her attorney, Henry Hilow, because she did not want to simply answer “yes” or “no” to the standard arraignment questions.

What did you want to say, Bridget?  That you’re a judge?  That the Stonewall Democrats endorsed you?  That you’re buddies with Pat Sweeney?  That you had a fundraiser to go to?  That you get to open your mouth more than the other guys in HANDCUFFS at their ARRAIGNMENTS?   Newsflash, your honor.  You’re.  In.  HANDCUFFS.  In FEDERAL COURT.  Dumbass.

“I never thought this circumstance would arise,” she said to the judge.

That makes one of you, Bridget.

At one point she sought a recess to discuss her bond agreement because she wanted to see if she could return to her job.

She is on a leave of absence from the bench as part of the $50,000 bond.

    bad judge, bad judge.

  • Neoaflander

It is about time. Now , how can we get the cases she ruled on to be reheard instead of just letting her destruction of American Jurisprudence stand? She and Terry are owned by Bill Mason, also crooked, and she has been an obedient judge to the point of locking up innocent people to benefit the DA’s numbers.

She said this to a close friend of mine who once appeared before her and now I get to say it about her “It is obvious you have no idea why you are in front of this court”. Yup well neither do you FORMER Judge McCafferty. Too bad that guy from Cleveland Scene isn’t around to write an expose about you.
