As Jon Keeling keeps spinning how politically irrelevant the National Rifle Association is to gun owners, I thought I’d point out this interesting bit of trivia.
Guess what former Ohioan is current a member of the National Rifle Association’s Board of Directors and Public Affairs Committee?
2006 Republican Gubernatorial nominee/former Strickland opponent Ken Blackwell.
Does this mean that Matt Naugle is going to have to square off against his old boss?
I’ll admit that I’m not entirely familiar with the NRA’s governance structure, but it would seem hard to say that Ken Blackwell isn’t, at a some level, going to have to address the fact that the organization in which he serves, specifically in politically matters, just endorsed his former foe.
