Again. More examples of manufactured outrage from the left.

No wait…

Damn. I’m going to have to rename this posting series! It just so happens that this is a press conference in which Eric Cantor (R-Va) claims that Dems are really to blame for inciting violence and that his office was shot at! It’s reckless to use incidents for political purposes so why don’t you listen to me while I use a recent incident at my campaign office for political purposes! LOL

Sounds bad, right? Nah:

In an interview with TPM, a Richmond Police Department spokesman said the bullet that penetrated a window in a building that includes a campaign office of Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) was “an act of random gunfire.”

…But a police statement on the incident, which occurred early Tuesday morning, suggested that someone had fired a bullet up into the air and it went through the window of the building on the way back down. While it went through a window, it did not penetrate the blinds, according to the police.

A Cantor spokesman did not immediately return a call for comment.

Yeah, no shit. I bet he was “not immediately available for comment”.

Of course, this bit of righteous indignation was immediately picked up by Faux News:

Damn near looks coordinated, doesn’t it?

Teabaggers are fine!? See?? My office got shot up too!? Everybody’s doing it!? Stop inciting us to incite them to incite violence!? Calm down everyone!!!

  • This pisses. Me. Off. What a douchebag Cantor is.

  • Shalom Eric,

I wish I could say that I'm shocked, shocked, I tell you.

    But not so much.

Rest assured, however, that that 25 percent will stay loyal. It has to.

  • Agreed. Whenever I see his weaselly little face on my TV I scream profanities at the screen. This is real rage.

I ever happen to see him in person I will immediately walk up to him and mess up his hair – preferably in front of some cameras so he has to make a choice: stand there with messed up hair and discuss the 'attack' or run away to find a mirror, some hairspray and brush.

I'm willing to bet he chooses the latter.

Kinda funny, all this… If those on Capitol Hill have such good hearing that they were able to hear a racial/gay slurs out of a large group of protestors, why is it they cannot hear what the Rest of America was/is saying?

    Selective Hearing? nah…

  • You, sir, are a terrorist!
