More Manufactured Outrage from the Left #3
Again. More examples of manufactured outrage from the left.
No wait…
Damn. I’m going to have to rename this posting series! It just so happens that this is a press conference in which Eric Cantor (R-Va) claims that Dems are really to blame for inciting violence and that his office was shot at! It’s reckless to use incidents for political purposes so why don’t you listen to me while I use a recent incident at my campaign office for political purposes! LOL
Sounds bad, right? Nah:
In an interview with TPM, a Richmond Police Department spokesman said the bullet that penetrated a window in a building that includes a campaign office of Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) was “an act of random gunfire.”
…But a police statement on the incident, which occurred early Tuesday morning, suggested that someone had fired a bullet up into the air and it went through the window of the building on the way back down. While it went through a window, it did not penetrate the blinds, according to the police.
A Cantor spokesman did not immediately return a call for comment.
Yeah, no shit. I bet he was “not immediately available for comment”.
Of course, this bit of righteous indignation was immediately picked up by Faux News:
Damn near looks coordinated, doesn’t it?
Teabaggers are fine!? See?? My office got shot up too!? Everybody’s doing it!? Stop inciting us to incite them to incite violence!? Calm down everyone!!!
