I wander over to the teabagger websites on occasion, sometimes to see what they’re up to, sometimes to find opportunities to put lunatics on Youtube….and what did I see this morning on the Cleveland Tea Party Patriot blog?

Two of the videos on the Cleveland Tea Party Patriots’ blog video feed are teabagger videos I shot myself.? The teabaggers love me!!

  • Congrats! And thought you might like this – we all know that the teabaggers are angry, but what about *real* people?

  • Snicker! I absolutely love it when they go skittering away from you because they know you're going to ask them a question they haven't got an intelligent answer for. Quite a few of them also seemed a tad defensive from the get-go, didn't they? You would think that instead of just getting pissed off, they might actually research some of the topics they feel so strongly about.

Christ, they're still tossing the L word around like it's an insult. You nasty, tricky liberal!!

These people are so idiotic it boggles the mind, but the truly scary part is that they actually believe in the stupid little sound bites they spew, without having any facts to back their opinion. Of course, that might just be the elitist in me bubbling to the surface.

Looks like average Americans to me.

You judge based on looks and debate skills, and because they do not fit your definition of normal. Feel sorry for friends and family who does not think like you do, you must make them miserable.

How about taking a moment to act like a human and try and talk to people about the issues and the way that you see them, rather than acting like an ignoramus, videoing people and calling them names behind the back. If you called them names to their face you might get some respect, but you are a coward and hide behind your little blog.

You have this mental thing where you believe you are above the average Joe. Lucky for us, and obviously too bad for you, the US constitution protects these people from those like you who have this faux intellectual superiority complex.

  • You must know how much I love irony coming here and accusing people of hiding behind a blog (people who are all listed in the about section of said blog) while leaving an anonymous comment on same blog. LOL. I love it!

    Coward much?

i fully understand the irony of this situation, but it must be understood that there are valid reasons for people to wish to maintain their anonymity in public forums. i learned my lesson on this score a long time ago when i was a little too forthcoming with personal info on usenet newsgroups and was then stalked by some real arseholes. let me tell ya. if you haven't been the victim of stalking behavior before it can be quite the harrowing experience, and “harrowing” doesn't really capture the true essence of the scenario.

  • I have no problem with anonymity. We obviously allow this in comments here. There are indeed valid reasons for wanting to remain anonymous. I might argue that the weight of ones words is less when speaking anonymously as opposed to owning one's words. I have no problem with those who engage anonymously.

I do have a problem with anonymous trolling idiots calling any of us cowards or claiming we “hide behind a blog”. No names are called behind backs. No cowards exist here really. If you pay close attention you also notice nobody hides behind anything here. We call wingnut asshats names to their faces. Repeatedly. Unlike some anonymous trolling commenters here. 😉

  • you're just as much of an idiot as the people in those videos.

i stood there with my camera, gave them my name, told them my blog. i blog on their idiocy using my name. so yes, that makes me better than the average anonymous joe. so go fuck yourself.

and yes, i'd tell that to your face if you weren't such a coward that you can't even bother to leave a comment using your own name. stand behind your bullshit, or you can eat me.

Put stick in pot and stir. FUN!

  • Not anymore. 😉
