Bill Todd continues to amuse.

You may remember that Bill Todd first moved to Columbus two years before he ran for Mayor.

You may also remember that he received fewer than 30% of the votes.

I guess this may have had something to do with his short stay.

A year and a half later Bill Todd is still whining about Columbus taxes – however he no longer lives in town. He has since moved to Bexley.

So long, Bill. We hardly knew ya.

    Hmmm … perhaps a run at the 20th state house district is in the cards?

    Don’t forget that in 2006 in the 21st district (cough, cough) after right wing crazy Linda Reidelbach pulled out for re-election knowing she couldn’t win her fourth term, the Franklin County Republican Party screened a number of candidates.

    One such candidate was Bill Todd but Kevin Bacon, then a Blendon Twp Trustee, was chosen.

    The 20th district is a moderately ripe target for the GOP, and Bexley is square in the middle of it.

  • That makes sense. But it’s hard to believe that Bexley voters are going to be any more open than Columbus voters to an outsider political hack like Todd.
