Who Killed the Wyden/Snowe Bill?
I sure wouldn’t want to be on the other end of the outrage when it’s discovered who killed this stimulus provision:
…a provision that would have forced bailout recipients to cap their bonuses at $100,000. Any amount paid above that would have been taxed at 35 percent. The language made it through the Senate, but during conference committee with the House, it was inexplicably removed.
I do have to quickly note that I’m really happy that my opponents on the right are finally getting on board and criticizing corporate excesses! I thought you’d never come running guys. LOL. Outrage! I guess it really sunk in when it was “taxpayer” money going to these fat cats. You know, OUR MONEY.
Pssst. It was always our money.
