Not ONE Republican? Srsly?
Not a single one?
WASHINGTON ? Without a single Republican vote, President Obama won House approval on Wednesday for an $819 billion economic recovery plan as Congressional Democrats sought to temper their own differences over the enormous package of tax cuts and spending.
Any claim to bipartisanship by the Republicans is pure postering. Clearly. Republicans in the house all went down the same old road of partisan obfuscation and petty games. Apparently they aren’t listening to the American people who clearly voted for change. What they are offering is the same old things that got us here in the first place. It sure wasn’t government spending – unless they want to concede that they are just as guilty as Dems on this score. Tax cuts for the rich. Again? That ship has sailed folks.
Get with the new plan.
