Some asshat from the Buckeye Institute filed a lawsuit against ACORN a few weeks ago.

Today Ed Brayton posts about an interview he did with Maurice Thompson of the Buckeye Institute and basically destroys their case. It turns out the “proof” the Buckeye Institute claims to have is actually just a bunch of lies.

Esquire Magazine articles are hardly the go-to information source for political trends but I couldn’t pass up a quick post about this strange one: “Why White Supremacists Support Barack Obama.”

The article basically interviews 4 white supremacists and finds that three of them actually support obama.

And why, you might ask, would a white supremacist support America’s first black presidential candidate?

According to the call I got this morning, the Ohio AFL-CIO is endorsing the caino initiative because it will bring thousands of good jobs to Ohio that can’t be shipped overseas.

Happy Halloween 2008!

Halloween is, without a doubt, my favorite holiday. Normally I’ll carve a couple of pumpkins – one kind of happy and one kind of scary.

I always buy way too much candy (because one year we ran out) and almost always I’m sent out of town for work at the last minute and I never get to actually hand out candy to the neighborhood kids which is the best part.

And almost always, Halloween week is the best week in Autumn because the following week is usually election week. And for Democrats, that week has pretty much sucked […]
