Today marks three years since I launched Plunderbund. It’s been a pretty fun ride. Since starting out I’ve added two bloggers (Brian and Joe) who have contributed so much to making PB what it is today. We’ve made a lot of new friends, pissed off many a Republican and wingnut blogger, and gained a stalker or two. Great fun.
Here is the first post on October 12, 2005 announcing Plunderbund: A Progressive Political Playground.
Starting this blog really has been more than I ever thought it would be. I’ve made lifelong friends because of it. I’ve been hired because of it. Hell, I’ve been on radio and TV because of it. The thing I’m most proud of though are the friends. 3 consecutive years keeping up a decent level of readership and influence in the Ohio ‘sphere is something I’m proud of as well. PB has taken on a life of it’s own in a way with Brian and Joe on board. They have as much to do with PB making it to year 3 as I do. In fact, maybe more – because I would have probably shut it down at some point if they had not been here to keep it going. Thanks guys!
So here’s a toast to PB, past present and future Plundermonkies, and all our readers! Let’s go another 3. Whaddya say?
