Today marks three years since I launched Plunderbund. It’s been a pretty fun ride. Since starting out I’ve added two bloggers (Brian and Joe) who have contributed so much to making PB what it is today. We’ve made a lot of new friends, pissed off many a Republican and wingnut blogger, and gained a stalker or two. Great fun.

Official number is not out yet, but there’s this:
One official close to the campaign said that September’s fundraising haul set a new record, surpassing the $66 million Obama raised in August. Another aide, asked about the campaign’s take, would only describe it: “big.”
I’ve predicted that he’d have a $100 million month. I don’t quite think he’ll get there, but will stand by my prediction. This could be it.

Remember when the Republicans accused Obama of promoting a policy of appeasement and accused him of wanting to negotiate with terrorists just because he wanted to meet with the leaders of ‘enemy’ countries?
Well… a funny thing happened yesterday.
Remember that North Korea country? Member of the Axis of Evil? Producer and purveyor of nuclear weapons? State sponsor of Terrorism? Communists?
Well last month they threatened to resume their nuclear weapons program if the US didn’t remove North Korea from its list of state sponsors of terrorism.
And yesterday the Bush Administration agreed to take them off the list.
