Anyone else kinda laughing that the tables appear to be completely turned on the tinfoil hat election fraud types? This year they all appear to be Republicans. Is there a correlation between getting your ass kicked and claiming election fraud?

Um. Wow. Did a wingnut blogger really just use a photo of the crater caused from flight 93 on 9/11 to make fun of John McCain?
That doesn’t seem very American to me. Exploiting the 9/11 tragedy and those heroes on that flight in this way. Shameful.
BTW and FWIW, I totally agree with Alo Konsen’s analysis of McCain’s chances.Full Story... →
It looks like the Ohio Republican Party has been inspired by John McCain’s extremist, far right, divisive attacks – and they have launched one of their own.
In a direct-mail piece sent to Chillicothe-area voters,
the ORP attacks Ray Pryor – Democratic candidate for the 85th district – accusing him of supporting “gay adoption”.
According to the Dispatch, this is a vulnerable seat for the incumbent. But I’m fairly confident running as ‘that homophobic candidate’ isn’t going to do much for his campaign. Even in Chillicothe.Full Story... →

The answer would surprise you if you got fooled by campaign rhetoric. If you pay attention to what is really happening, though, it won’t surprise you one bit:
As the 2008 campaign nears its conclusion, the presidential transition efforts of the two major candidates have become a study in contrasts: Sen. Barack Obama has organized an elaborate well-staffed network to prepare for his possible ascension to the White House, while Sen. John McCain has all but put off such work until after the election.
Again, John McCain shows poor judgment. Not only that, but he is putting our country […]Full Story... →

What do you call it when someone puts out a falsehood in a campaign, gets corrected on the matter, but then continues to use said falsehood?
I call it fucking lying. Not sure about you.
Steve Austria and his campaign manager Brad Mascho continue to push this story about Sharen Neuhardt “harboring an illegal” right on the front page of their site. Even though the entire thing has been proven absolutely false. Over and over and over. Maybe someone in the press can ask them why they continue to lie to the voters of the […]Full Story... →
Yes, my friends. The man is an erratic mess:
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) made an overnight change in the homeowner bailout he proposed at Tuesday’s presidential debate, making it more generous to financial institutions and more costly for taxpayers.
Great Obama response:
“John McCain wants the government to massively overpay for mortgages in a plan that would guarantee taxpayers lose money, and put them at risk of losing even more if home values don’t recover. The biggest beneficiaries of this plan will be the same financial institutions that got us into this mess, some of whom even committed fraud.”Full Story... →
OK, he didn’t say beotch. But he did say the other part:
“I am surprised that, you know, we’ve been seeing some pretty over-the-top attacks coming out of the McCain campaign over the last several days, that he wasn’t willing to say it to my face. But I guess we’ve got one last debate. So presumably, if he ends up feeling that he needs to, he will raise it during the debate.”
Barack Obama just threw down the gauntlet on the war hero. Just punked the maverick. This should make the next debate more fun. Obama is daring […]Full Story... →
