I know yard signs don’t work and I’ve even heard they are for losers.

But I still have to wonder- does size make a difference?

Two of these Carney signs went up this week in my neighborhood.

  • He needs to get a few in Dublin, except it is too hoity-toity for billboards…

  • I never really even noticed that billboard was there until today.

It turns out there are two of them on Indianola – one near North Broadway (in the picture) and another a little further North that faces the other direction.

Carney has them both. And a ton of signs on yards along the way.

It’s actually not my district- so I haven’t been following it. But I might start now just to see if the “yard signs don’t vote” theory is true.

There’s one on 33 in Dublin/NW Cbus. Just the name, not the cute pics of the family though.

I’m a fan of using billboards over yard signs. First, there’s no organization for securing sign locations, you just buy.

Second, it’s more expensive, yes, but more bang for the buck if you obtain a high traffic location. Choose a simple design and an eye grabbing color and you put thousands of eyes on it each day, far more than yard signs.
