Don’t believe the ads. You can calculate your election year tax implications by going to a site that has take both tax plans and put them into a cool interactive tool that will tell you how it will affect you. I did mine and Obama will give me quite a big tax CUT! I plugged in some different numbers and there are scenarios in which you’d get a cut under Obama, but a tax INCREASE under McCain.
Republicans will raise your taxes. Obama will cut them. He’s lying to you if you believe Obama will raise taxes. Flat […]Full Story... →

The McCain campaign just released this ridiculous video…
“Congratulations,” says Mr. McCain. “How perfect that your nomination would come on this historic day.”
By “historic day” we assume McCain is talking about the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech.
The whole thing seems forced, contrived and insincere – especially knowing that John McCain voted against MLK day.
More than anything else, this ad just seems like another attempt by McCain to remind voters that Obama is – gasp! – black.Full Story... →

Tim is all over The PeeDee and Bizzy Boy Blogger Tom Blumer this morning. It seems the two are up in arms over ACORN. The problem? 5 fraudulent voter registrations. Out of 75,000 submitted.
Of 75,000 submitted.
They find 5.
What’s that? Like .006%? Bizzy himself ought to know that this is a pretty damn good error rate. You might even describe this as “near zero”. General Motors would. Hell, even Honda would.
Yet the cries are loud from Wingnuttia today. You’d think the Plain Dealer would be objective, but apparently they’ve been […]Full Story... →
