The Boston Globe makes a wordpile out of both the McCain and Obama blogs. The results are below:

The interesting thing? They are both obsessed with Obama! So maybe McCain’s own blog is partly responsible for his celebrity status. It doesn’t surprise me, really.

McCain: Obama, Visit, Cancelled!

Obama: Obama, Change, Hope!

Easy enough. Here is the PlunderWordle:

I love that chuckling is so prominent. 😉

Watching the History Channel tonight I saw a commercial for one of those fix-your-tax-problems companies. Pretty standard stuff except that this one included a new ending that really reminded me of something else…

Anyone else think this sounds like an Obama rip-off?

…and that’s just the good news.

The bad news? He did do some work for them and I’ve been hearing about it from just about everybody that heard it and knew I started PO with Rothenberg back in 2006. Countless emails and IMs that basically all start “dude, wtf?”.

So here’s the truth of the matter, which neither Naugle or Russo had right.

Leo Jennings was paid in some capacity to do some work but was definitely NOT “hired” by PO. He was never in an employee relationship with PO. It’s still one of the dumbest […]

I’ll be chuckling about this all day. Might not remember what the post was about, but I’ll be chuckling about the punchline. I do recommend when anyone is befuddled over the McCain campaigns utter lack of anything resembling campaign chops they use the phrase.

On August 4, 2008 By

The above barn is in Trumbull County somewhere I’m told. If anyone ever sees another O-barn, please send photos to eric at plunderbund dot com. Love to post them!

The John McCain Experience

On August 4, 2008 By

Even if you don’t like Family Guy (ESPECIALLY if you don’t like Family Guy) you should watch this.

Veterans of Future Wars. The John McCain Experience. Classic.

Yes, it’s in bad taste – but hey, THAT’S why it’s so damn funny.

Dirty Conservatives

The next time a righty mentions dirty liberal protestors, show them this:

House Republicans are to continue their insurgent legislative sit-in today to protest the Democratic leadership going on recess without having voted on the “American Energy Act”, otherwise known as the “Jed Clampett Offshore Drilling Project”.

Energy policy aside (and the fact that this is a pure political stunt), this is pretty brilliant of the GOP. I watched this unfold on Friday completely on Twitter. It was the best political use I’ve seen yet of the Twitter. The three main Tweeters to follow were petehoekstra, johnculberson, and johnboehner. Like any politician or executive, it is […]
