Three Ohio Representatives – Jim Jordan, Bob Latta and Jean Schmidt – have decided to cosponsor a bill that would effectively increase the number of abortions and unintended pregnancies among elementary and secondary school girls.
The bill, H.R. 6453, was introduced by Doug Lamborn and it goes a little something like this…
“To amend the General Education Provisions Act to prohibit Federal education funding for elementary or secondary schools that provide access to emergency postcoital contraception.”
I assume Mr. Lamborn and his cosponsors expect that this silly little bill will keep silly little girls and boys from […]Full Story... →

I have been waiting for this type of information
about Obama to come to the Internet. This is
informative and a good read.
This message will make you stop and think outside
of the box…something all of us need to do before

So how disingenuous does one have to be to claim the moral high ground and scoff at a liberal leaning magazine for printing something that has been in his and the collective right’s psyche for some time now?
The answer? Very.
Not only that, but Mr. Flip Flop himself can’t make up his damned mind. First he posts that “I Condemn the Liberal Magazine New Yorker” (that’s the title of the post), then he tells Tim via email:

Interesting take. I’d often wondered about this. I know if I were 20 years younger and didn’t have kids I wouldn’t have a “home” phone. When my girls are old enough we may even become a family of cell phone only users and ditch the home phone all together. This seems like a natural shift, this cell phone only trend. At some point we’ll all just contact people individually instead of call their homes.
Salon points out how this dynamic may be causing Obama’s support to be under-reported by as much as 2-3%:
the sample I’ve described is […]Full Story... →
Pay to play baby! Pay to play!
A lobbyist with close ties to the White House is offering access to key figures in George W Bush’s administration in return for six-figure donations to the private library being set up to commemorate Bush’s presidency.
Lobbyist Stephen Payne is caught on tape arranging meetings with the Bush administration in exchange for donations to the Bush library – and of course pocketing some cash for himself and Worldwide Strategic Partners.Full Story... →
If you read this, you quickly realize the SI reporter got played by a racing team that is at the moment struggling for a sponsor and dying for attention. I’m not a NASCAR fan per se (I have friends who ask me to check results on my iPhone is as close as I get to it), but a small amount of research turns up information that BAM racing is an also ran.
TONS of things wrong with the entire scenario. Said team owners are staunch Republicans (could be good if they made some statement that they were actually […]Full Story... →
