As a lobbyist, Winters once represented coin dealer Thomas W. Noe, who has since been convicted of embezzling from the state’s Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. Dann was a dogged critic of Noe and his relationship with the bureau.

Governor Strickland just announced that Tom Winters will take over as Ohio’s Attorney General now that Marc Dann is gone.

I went hunting for some information about Tom and came up with this bio from Dann’s Transition Team documents…

Democrat Barack Obama has won the endorsement of NARAL Pro-Choice America, a leading abortion rights advocacy organization that has supported rival Hillary Rodham Clinton throughout her political career.
