It seems like Marc Dann is in the news now more than ever.

It’s pretty easy for me to ignore the silly fake sex scandal stuff. But this story really jumped out at me today…

The Ohio Attorney General’s office tried again Wednesday to save a state law that restricts the use of a pill that induces abortion.

The law in question would “make it illegal for doctors to prescribe the pill, known as RU-486, after the seventh week of pregnancy”. And Marc Dann’s office wants to SAVE it.

I’ve really, really been trying to stay on your side lately, Marc.

But come on! Women’s rights – especially reproductive rights – are one of the most important issues on progressive Democrats’ minds.

If you want to have ANY chance of staying in office this term- and maybe into another – then the first thing you need to do is avoid losing support with your base.

I understand where you’re coming from Joseph. I do want to point out that the AG’s office does have an obligation to defend the constitutionality of acts of the legislature, and it’s far better for an AG to do that in all instances rather than politicize the office by only defending the particular legislative acts the attorney general personally agrees with.

Just another school of thought to consider. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Joe- Just be thankful that your mother didn’t use this human pesticide on you.

  • @2: LOL. Srsly,WTF? You are a piece of work!

  • Good point Modern.

I hope they don’t defend it too hard though because it a crappy and highly partisan piece of legislation.

  • @2: Maybe you should post how good a job Dann is doing by defending this ban on “human pesticide”. LOL

Dann should waste his time on something more useful, and not a womans right.
