Cindy Lazarus has a new TV commercial …
It’s a positive, straightforward ad that highlights her experience.
Of course, the O’Grady people immediately issued a nasty and negative response claiming that the statements in Cindy’s ad are not “the truth”.
For example, they claim she was not a “respected judge” because she has not been a judge since 2005. What the hell does that have to do with anything?
And they claim she is not a “loyal democrat” because she did not vote in the last primary election. Which, of course, is bullshit.
Personally, I think a loyal […]Full Story... →
Both campaigns seem to be taking advantage of online advertising targeting Ohio voters. For example, a search in Google for “Ohio Democratic Primary” returns two sponsored ads in the corner: one for Hillary and one for Barack.
But the Obama people are taking it a step further with really flashy ad I just saw over at Ohio.com. It’s pretty cool, actually- starting as a small banner it expands to take up most of the page and includes video and other useful info.Full Story... →
The BuckeyeStateBlog has the latest Hillary ad this morning and it is just jaw dropping the level to which she is stooping now as we near the March 4th firewall. Inevitability didn’t work. Retooling to “Change” didn’t work. Finding her voice didn’t work (not totally). Bullshit plagiarism charges didn’t work. Putting Bill out there didn’t work. What’s a girl to do?
PLAY THE FEAR CARD!
Un. Fucking. Real.
So this thing gets put up on YouTube today. I’ve not seen this on TV as yet (frankly I don’t watch much). If you see it, leave a […]Full Story... →
A new Survey USA poll asks Ohioans “Do you approve or disapprove of the job Ted Strickland is doing as Governor?”
Overall he’s at 51% – which isn’t too bad.
But this poll show something really interesting: a surprisingly huge drop in support from African Americans:
In the same poll back in early January, Ted’s approval rating among blacks was 30 points higher!
The survey doesn’t ask people why they approve or disapprove of the Governor, but it seems pretty obvious that this huge drop must, at least […]Full Story... →
Texas Democrats are worried about rumors that Hillary’s campaign may plan to sue the Texas Democratic Party over their complicated process for selecting delegates.
They are so worried, in fact, that Chad Dunn, a lawyer for the party, sent out a letter to both campaigns warning them that legal action against the state party “could prove to be a tragedy for a reinvigorated Democratic process.”
I think this is a good time to remind the Clinton folks what happened to Dennis Kucinich back in January when HE sued the Texas Democratic Party…. he lost.
Back then, Dunn responded […]Full Story... →
My wife says McCain sounds like Casey Kasem. I think that’s kinda funny. Not as funny as this, though. I only really mention the McCain thing as an excuse to post this video. Warning: Parental Advisory. Strong language. Don’t play this in an office setting without headphones.

The numbers are coming in and they are breathtaking. It looks like the strategic loan – source of which we will probably never know – made by Hillary Clinton paid off in that it had the desired affect of getting snoozing supporters to write checks. They all had a collective “oh shit” moment that was, in my view, completely calculated. This is backed up by public statements now being made by the campaign:
The breakthrough moment, Mr. McAuliffe said, came after Mrs. Clinton announced early in the month that she had lent money to her campaign. “Our Internet exploded, […]Full Story... →
I will be in Boston on March 4 for a trade show. But I got my vote in the hopper this afternoon. I hear this early voting thing is quite the rage. Hopefully the numbers will be huge. I’ve also been hearing of some discrepancies in what poll workers are trained and what voters are being told. I didn’t see any of that at the Delaware County BOE, but I did see 3 iVotronics and 1 old paper ballot looking thing (it was not used while I was there). The other thing I noted is that the […]Full Story... →
