Two senior bishops are urging people to cut back on carbon for Lent instead of the conventional chocolate or alcohol.
A couple of great quotes as well:
“To carry on regardless of their plight is to fly in the face of Christian teaching.”
“The moral imperative for us to act is unquestionable and inescapable.”
Why more “Christians” aren’t fighting global warming is something I’ve never quite figured out. Too busy bashing gays and protecting the sanctity of stem cells I guess. Family values won’t help you when the floods come. Or is that the point?
