Hillary Leads In Paper Mask Poll

Since 2000, has been conducting a “Presidential Mask Poll” – which involves selling paper masks for each of the candidates at $.99- and then counting each mask purchased as a vote.

Right now- Clinton is “polling” at 51% among Democrats while Obama is at 45%.

According to the site, they have been “100% accurate since 2000” – which, of course, is disappointing given that I’d like to see Obama kick some ass today.

But I’m taking their claim with some skepticism given that RON PAUL is currently leading in their Republican Mask Poll results.

Bishops: Give Up Carbon for Lent

Fantastic idea:

Two senior bishops are urging people to cut back on carbon for Lent instead of the conventional chocolate or alcohol.

A couple of great quotes as well:

“To carry on regardless of their plight is to fly in the face of Christian teaching.”

“The moral imperative for us to act is unquestionable and inescapable.”

Why more “Christians” aren’t fighting global warming is something I’ve never quite figured out. Too busy bashing gays and protecting the sanctity of stem cells I guess. Family values won’t help you when the floods come. Or is that the point?
