I’m really sorry to hear that Joe Biden is dropping out of the presidential race- along with Chris Dodd.
But I am really not surprised nor am I too depressed about it.
I really like Joe Biden- and I hoped he’d have some kind of surge in support at the end there. But, unfortunately, that’s how these things go and, as a matter of fact, I’m starting to get used to it. I’m not sure if that’s is a good or bad thing but it’s true so there isn’t much I can do about it.
Honestly, I’ve spent so many years supporting really good candidates who I knew could never win the general election that I think I’m finally ready to just give in, throw up my hands and say: give me a candidate everyone can agree on- someone I don’t totally hate- and I’ll give him/her my support.
And it looks like I’m going to end up doing that this year with Barack Obama- the guy who just slammed the other Dems in Iowa with an 8 point lead.
So I guess it’s So Long Joe Biden- we’re gonna miss you.
And hello Barack Obama- and good luck in NH!
