I’m really sorry to hear that Joe Biden is dropping out of the presidential race- along with Chris Dodd.

But I am really not surprised nor am I too depressed about it.

I really like Joe Biden- and I hoped he’d have some kind of surge in support at the end there. But, unfortunately, that’s how these things go and, as a matter of fact, I’m starting to get used to it. I’m not sure if that’s is a good or bad thing but it’s true so there isn’t much I can do about it.

Honestly, I’ve spent so many years supporting really good candidates who I knew could never win the general election that I think I’m finally ready to just give in, throw up my hands and say: give me a candidate everyone can agree on- someone I don’t totally hate- and I’ll give him/her my support.

And it looks like I’m going to end up doing that this year with Barack Obama- the guy who just slammed the other Dems in Iowa with an 8 point lead.

So I guess it’s So Long Joe Biden- we’re gonna miss you.

And hello Barack Obama- and good luck in NH!

  • Welcome aboard the O-train Joe!

  • Richardson hasn’t dropped out yet- so there is still hope.

But I figure he’ll make a great VP candidate- picking up the hispanic vote and the south west- as well as adding some real foreign policy/relations experience to the Obama/Richardson ticket.

  • I thought you might want to know that we have just released a new online documentary on Obama. My small independent film company was on the ground in New Hampshire, New York City, South Carolina and Iowa from August to October trying to capture the spirit of the movement we saw on the ground. The documentary is 68 minutes long and comes in nine parts. We hosted it on blip.tv because it was filmed in HD and blip has the best quality playback. I expect to have it on YouTube and Google video soon as well.

    Our blog has the details:

  • Biden’s farewell speech…
