Mike Huckabee has been surging in the polls lately.
If you read last week’s NY Times piece about Huckabee then you might actually believe the guy has a chance. With a good showing in Iowa and a LOT more fundraising of course.
Honestly, I never really thought Mike had any chance of winning the primary and CERTAINLY not the general election- but a new Rasmussen poll shows that Huckabee along with the GOP candidates have a better chance at winning in Ohio than I originally thought.
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani leads Senator Hillary Clinton of 44% to 42%, a lead within the +/- 4.5 margin of sampling error. Giuliani also leads Senator Barack Obama 43% to 40%.
Hillary Clinton and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney are tied 43% to 43%.
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, newly ascendant in the Republican primary race, leads Clinton 44% to 40% and leads Obama 45% to 39%.
That’s scary stuff!
