Damn it’s cold out!

And for people here in Ohio that is going to mean high heating costs.

According to Forbes Magazine Cleveland is the seventh most expensive place in the country to heat your home.

Even though local natural gas prices are “below national averages”- the average heating cost are still $1,154.77.

So as I sit here wrapped in a blanket, trying to avoid turning up the thermostat- I keep thinking about the heat miser song!

  • Wtf. I guess it’s like ‘heart of the city’ grocery stores in some cities, the prices are higher for those who can least afford it. I’m off to read Forbes….I’m wondering if they are saying our housing stock is so old and under insulated that plays a part? Yeah, talking outta my head, ok, I’ll go read the article.
