Damn it’s cold out!

And for people here in Ohio that is going to mean high heating costs.

According to Forbes Magazine Cleveland is the seventh most expensive place in the country to heat your home.

Even though local natural gas prices are “below national averages”- the average heating cost are still $1,154.77.


So as I sit here wrapped in a blanket, trying to avoid turning up the thermostat- I keep thinking about the heat miser song!

Push polls. Republicans love them.

I kind of figured they would show up this election season- not really so soon though.

According to the AP “New Hampshire’s attorney general is investigating phone calls to voters that pretend to be opinion polls but then undercut presidential contender Mitt Romney and his Mormon faith.”

Funny thing about this one is that it’s coming from Western Wats, a Utah-based company.

But it really shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Federal agents on Wednesday raided the Evansville, Indiana headquarters of the National Organization for the Repeal of the Federal Reserve and Internal Revenue Codes (NORFED), an organization of “sound money” advocates that for the past decade has been selling what it calls Liberty Dollars, a private currency it says is backed by silver and gold stored in Idaho, with a total of more than $20 million in circulation, according to the group.
