Ken Blackwell is teaming up with disgraced, money launderer Tom DeLay in a new “grass-roots action and advocacy organization” called Coalition for a Conservative Majority.
DeLay is still under indictment in Texas and accused of violating campaign laws which, I imagine, is why he can’t run the organization himself.
According to their press release , the goal of the group is to defeat “the liberal Shadow Party” that is trying to “elect Hillary Clinton President of the United States in 2008.”
The group “plans to establish several local chapters in major media markets throughout the country” particulary those “where left-of-center advocacy groups and 527s are operating.”
