George Bush and the UFO Believers

the Dispatch has this great headline today:

ESP, ghost, UFO believers outnumber Bush supporters

34 percent of people .. say they believe in ghosts, according to a pre-Halloween poll by the Associated Press and Ipsos. That’s the same proportion who believe in unidentified flying objects

I’m definitely one of the non-Bush supporters; still undecided on the UFOs.

side note: maybe Dennis Kucinich isn’t THAT crazy just because he supposedly saw a UFO.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that the Bush folks made some serious changes to the testimony CDC Director Dr. Julie Gerberding was going to give before the Senate.

?It was eviscerated,? said a CDC official, familiar with both versions, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the review process.

The official said that while it is customary for testimony to be changed in a White House review, these changes were particularly ?heavy-handed,? with the document cut from its original 14 pages to four. It was six pages as presented to the Senate committee.
