While Mitt Romney trys to downplay the specifics of his Mormon beliefs and play up his generic sense of ‘faith’-
a new poll from the Pew Research Center
shows that it might not help him much.

According to the poll, only 53% of American have a favorable opinion of Mormons. This is the same percentage of people who view Muslim Americans favorably.

At the bottom of the list: Athiests – only 35% favorable.

At the top: Jews – 76% favorable.

I’m no huge ‘fern fan, but this is one of the funniest lines I’ve heard in some time. For those not in on the back story, this will help (even made BBC). Statewide Republicans are so desperate to deflect actual Republican sexual scandal that they have – and are – attempting to use this incident as a way to do that.

Big surprise, right?

If we took away women?s right to vote, we?d never have to worry about another Democrat president. It?s kind of a pipe dream, it?s a personal fantasy of mine, but I don?t think it?s going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women.
