As you may have probably heard, Karen Hughes has been transitioning back into the public eye lately. I guess she is probably picking up the slack for Karl Rove as he transitions out of the administration and on to bigger and better things.
As one of her first big acts, Karen (AKA The Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs) along with Condoleezza Rice, announced today that Cal Ripken, Jr. would be appointed “our newest American public diplomacy envoy”.

So “MC Rove” is leaving the Bush White House and I’m with Brian in thinking that it isn’t to spend more time with his family.
And, with Tommy Thompson out of the way, he’s probably not going to that campaign.
So where do YOU think he’s going?
Fred Thompson’s Campaign? Maybe.
Joe Lieberman? Also a possibility.

Karl Rove has resigned, and will leave the White House by the end of the month.
I can’t bring myself to believe he’s stepping down to spend more time with his family, as he says in the article. A man this unfailingly loyal to Bush doesn’t just up and leave. There is something more to this, I just don’t know what it is yet.Full Story... →
