Not surprisingly, Ohio’s Republicans are coming out in support for George Bush’s decision to give Scooter Libby a pass after he was convicted of lying to a federal grand jury and obstructing the CIA leak investigation.

Robert T. Bennett, chairman of the Ohio Republican Party said “the sentence was out of line. I think most of the voters, when they analyze it, will feel fine about it.”

House Minority Leader John Boehner said “I agree with the president’s decision… It ensures that the interests of both justice and fairness are served.”

Happy Birthday, America

Americans singing the National Anthem in Kaiserslautern, Germany before last summer’s World Cup game against Italy. If this doesn’t give you goosebumps, I think you might be dead.
