You will love this one. That headline is an actual quote from an Odessa, Texas school official crowing in an email about using curriculum which clearly violates the First Amendment. Shannon Baker, the ECISD director of curriculum and instruction sent out an email after a 4-2 vote approving the curriculum:
YES, WE ARE USING NCBCPS : ) : ) : ) ! HA! Take that you dang heathens!
Now, let’s just put aside the utter irony of that statement. No, scratch that. I love irony. Shannon is calling those who would protect education and teach science heathens, while defending […]Full Story... →
Bob Evans has died. A much picked place to eat out for my family. Thoughts and prayers for the Evans family. Just got this from the Governor’s office:

(CBS/AP) While the U.S. military searches for a soldier missing in Iraq, kidnapped by insurgents possibly allied with al Qaeda, his wife back home in Massachusetts may be deported by the U.S. government.
Based on some things I’ve heard online (more on that later), I’m gonna bet the wingnut blogosphere in Ohio would vote to hate on illegals. “Deport the illegal bitch” is my guess on their first thought. Tough one for them though. It’s what happens when […]Full Story... →
