Last month I predicted Mitt Romney was going to take home “buckets of cash-money” from five states with large Mormon populations. And that is exactly what happened.
Romney raised more money overall than the rest of the GOP candidates- but he did especially well in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada and Oregon.
Here is a chart showing contributions in these 5 states for each of the top three GOP candidates…
And, here’s a little more… These pie charts help show how skewed his fund raising is toward Mormon-heavy states:
