I tell ya, these guys are non-stop fun. In a post today complaining about the number of state employees making more than $100,000, which has risen 10 fold in the past decade (not adjusted for inflation, mind), they pointed out that universities weren’t included in the totals…

Just imagine if it included public universities.

Well, I dared to imagine. On the face of it, that struck me as incredibly silly. And guess what – it is. And if my browser hadn’t crashed, I would have a fully documented rebuttal to this poppycock (Did I just say another bad word?).

Colbert better knows Zack Space

OK, so you may have already seen this, but just in case you didn’t, this is a side-splittingly funny segment from Monday’s Colbert Report interviewing Zack Space.

Of course, RABid make some sort of bizarre claim that Space is some kind of “Commie in sheep’s clothing” who is hiding his true views in order to placate his constituents. The implication, of course, is that he’s lying about his pro-gun position.

CREW compiled a list of what they say are the 25 most corrupt members of this Administration. So much for returning honor and dignity to the White House.

CREW found and documented more than more than 160 cases of misconduct over the last six years and then narrowed the list based on type of offense, the official?s level of responsibility and the impact on the public trust. The majority of the officials in the report have been convicted of crimes, are currently under criminal investigation, or are being investigated by the inspector generals of their respective agencies.
