Right: Ohio voters, fed up with GOP corruption, swept up in state-wide races. Strickland, Brown, Brunner, Cordray, with Dann looking likely. Votes still to be counted with Sykes in a tight race. Nationwide, the House looks almost certain to flip, and the Senate will be very very close. The flip in gubernatorial races is astounding. Statewide issues in Ohio went exactly how I felt they should.
Wrong: Downticket performance was terrible. State House and Senate seats went strongly for incumbents. We have a 9-0 Republican State Supreme Court. Other Dem judges had disappointing performances.

In Hancock county they have prisoners in black and white striped prison outfits helping count the ballots.

With 59% of precincts in Franklin County reporting, Shamansky has just 49% of the vote. Given how strongly red Licking and Delaware Co. are, we have to hope that the precincts reporting in Franklin county are the outer suburbs. Shamansky has to win Franklin County to have a chance.Full Story... →

It appears likely – tho only one has been called – that three House seats in Indiana will flip to Dems. It appears that 1 of 2 key races in Kentucky will flip. Additionally, Democrats have picked up two Governor seats (OH and MA).
