The judicial races aren’t talked about nearly as much as they should be. Ohio2006 does something about it and mentions how William O’Neill (D-South Russell) refused to meet with the Toledo Blade because they are currently locking out 215 employees.

It is important that we address the wildly out-of-balance courts in Ohio and get some progressives back on the bench. I agree with Yellow Dog Sammy: O’Neill is exactly what we need more of.

Now Hastert is a Democrat too?

What the hell? Liberal media my ass. They appear to be taking cues from Katherine “we want to know which Democrats knew about this and kept it covered up” Harris.

To be fair, the errors have now been corrected on web copy. But if they were printed that way, and people didn’t know they were incorrect, then the damage has been done.

Unfortunately, despite all the hard work bloggers do, most citizens do not read blogs, so when something reported here at Plunderbund makes it into the papers, I get a warm fuzzy feeling. We are doing our thing. We are shaping the debate. And most importantly, we are forcing Republicans to play defense.

Blackwell spokesman Carlo LoParo yesterday called Pratt?s organization “a well respected Second Amendment advocacy group and Larry Pratt is an unflinching advocate of Second Amendment rights.”

“We?re happy to have his support,” LoParo said, dismissing criticism of Pratt as “a bit overblown and a bit ridiculous.”

And rightfully so. He’s mad as hell (pdf). Tiberi made all kinds of “carpetbagging” accusations and even accused Shamansky of breaking the law, while he did no such thing – and there is zero evidence pointing towards it.
