Maybe this all is irrelevant. I don?t usually make political predictions this early, but I’ve been watching this race, and I think it is over. Unless he commits some enormous political blunder, Strickland wins with about 54 percent of the vote this November.

Ohio: Senator Mike DeWine (R) joins a growing list of GOP incumbents who have fallen behind in their bid for re-election. Sherrod Brown (D) leads DeWine 44% to 42%. While that’s well within the margin of sampling error, it’s the second time in three polls that the Democrat has held the edge. It’s troubling for any incumbent to be at 42% in a summer poll.
